Some news!

It’s been a really long time since the last update. Life goes on and the time flies! The most important thing to report is that Linnea has decided to leave the kennel. Life changes and we support her decision. At the same time that Linnea decided to leave we also decided that my husband Joel should join the kennel instead. Today we got the paper of confirmation from the Swedish Kennel Club so we now have made som changes on the kennelpage –

Some other great news is that Asta gained both her Swedish and Norweigan championtitles last winter. She is a true beauty with loads of positive energy. Time will tell what the future will bring with her. Me and Joel also got a baby this spring. Therefor there hasn’t been much time for dog shows or obedience competitions. Next spring we will move to a new home but hopefully we will have some more time for dog activities after that!

Happy birthday!

Today is our beloved Want-litters birthday! Can’t belive that they already are 3 years old. Our thoughts goes especially to the sweet Ramses that left us way to early and to the beloved boy Lykke who has been missing since february. Loads of love to all our Want-sweethearts!

Way to go Eos!

Today we were at the international KC show in Piteå. My family lives about 200-300 meters from the showground so we were there to cheer on Linnea who were showing Eos. They did really well together! At almost 2 years old and his 2:nd entry at an KC show Eos, Spisi’s Don’t Want To Share, took his first CC!  There were 6 PH entered and Eos went 2:nd best male. Linnea handled him very well today and Eos sure had fun. He’s the first Spisi’s PH to get a CC and we’re so proud of him! He still has a lot of developement to do but his getting there, slowly.

What a day

Today we were at the  international KC show in Vänersborg. We had entered Hera, Spisi’s Know You Want Me, and Asta, Enigma Something To Remember, for judge Ewa Nielsen and Yra, Enigma After Me Please, for judge Henrik Johansson. Last weekend in Norrköping we hade the freezing winds. Today we had hard rain and the grass turned into mud… We hade mud everywhere! The ring were soaking wet, some had smal puddles of water and mud. Really great conditions to show sighthounds and basenjis in! Not! But the girls did the best they could despite the weather. Asta only got excl in junior class, the judge felt that she needs more time. Hera did quite great today! She has only been shown 3 times before today and it’s a year since last time. She has matured a lot since then! Today she went 4:th best bitch with R-CC, after her grandmother Vega, Enigma Surprise Me. Vega later ended up as BIS-4 veteran! Congrats to her breeders and owners Sofie and Madelene Lönn at kennel Enigma. Yra made her debut in championclass today. She was not pleased with the weather at all… She didn’t show as well as she usally does but ended up as 3:rd best bitch. We now hope for a bit better weather next weekend in Avesta, at least not heavy rain or freezing winds.

  Lovely weather…

Today we borrowed Eos, Spisi’s Don’t Want To Share, from Linnea to show him at the international dog show in Norrköping. We also had our little sweetheart Asta with us. The weather could have been better, icy and strong winds, but at least it didn’t rain. Eos was shown for the first time at an official dog show. He has only been shown at the unofficial show that the Pharaoh Hound club held last summer. We knew that he needed a lot of time to mature so we haven’t had any rush getting him out in the rings. But now it’s time to start practice! He did really good today. The judge, Gunnar Nyman, were very good with the dogs and he sure took his time feeling them up from head to toe! Eos handled this very well and he was really focused when i stacked him. In movement Eos usually is very calm, relaxed and focused but today he feelt a bit “all over the place” and a bit tense. I think the icy winds had some to do with it… Any way. He got excl. and got placed as second male in his class. The judge feelt that he still needs time to get more stabile. And I can agree that he still needs more time to get stable and get his body to settle. He’s also a bit thin for the moment (after a short period with a bad stomache).

Our youngster Asta did quite well today. She was really focused but she was a bit tense in her topline on the move. Again, i think the icy winds had a bit to do with it. But Asta still has some training to do before she’s fully relaxed on the move. She just has so much going on in her cute little head… She’s so extremly social that she tenses up and just want’s to rush to everyone. With some training and time I hope we will get her as focused as she needs to be.  Asta won her class with CQ but weren’t placed in best bitch, she went fifth with R-CERT. Not so great results but over all a great day of traning!

Spisi’s Want It All ”Romanov” is looking for a new home

This sweet boy is still looking for a new home as soon as possible. Romanov is truly a gentlemen and everyone he meets falls for his charm and gentle nature. He’s easy to train since he have good contact and are willing to do almost anything for a piece of candy or som playtime. Romanov loves to cuddle and don’t mind getting up in our lap and get his belly scratched. When he wants something he might speak or use his paws to gett attention or a hold of the thing he wants.

Romanov is castrated and vaccinated. He grew up in Stockholm city and are used to the city life. Romanov gets along well with humans, other dogs and cats but he’s not used to interact with small children.

Romanov needs a new home as soon as possible.
Please contact  us if your interested.

Time flies! Our sweetheart Dyrka, Enigma Superlicious Outfit, is already 6 years old. She’s such a warm and kind soul. This spring she has started to learn the basics of the new sport “Rallylydnad”. It’s a form of obedience competition and hopefully she will compete later this year. Perhaps she will be entered at some shows as well, she still knows how to show off!

Lovely Lykke

Today we had Lykke, “Spisi’s Take What I Want”, and his owner Oscar and his sister for visit. Lykke has grown up to be a handsome and outgoing boy! He sure has a great dog life, he acctually get’s to spend every day with his “dad” at work. There he can run free in the forrest at his lunchwalk and during the day he gets to greet everyone that comes to hos “dads” work. His “dad” Oscar truly does everything he can to make sure that Lykke is as happy as a PH can be.
